London Residential Property Refurbishment Project

A recent residential renovation project was for a warehouse apartment located in London SE1. The property was tired and in much need of attention. Our remit comprised of levelling the uneven floors throughout the flat and installing a wood floor. We created an entirely new ensuite bathroom. Other jobs involved making a fitted wardrobe, tiling, decoration and installing a new boiler.

Wooden Floor Installation

We added immediate value to this apartment by levelling up the uneven floors and installing a real wood floor throughout. The apartment entrance and bedrooms feature curved walls so we bent the skirting boards to match.

Kitchen Building Work

The downside to the stunning apartment was the small kitchen. We opened it up for the client by cutting a wall and installing a breakfast bar. We prepared the room for the kitchen fitters by strengthening walls and levelling the floor. The Space DBM plumber was responsible for the kitchen pipework. He connected the washing machine and dishwasher and installed the kitchen tap.

Fitted Wardrobe

To create ample storage in the main bedroom we built a fitted wardrobe along a curved wall. The ceiling to floor doors were sprayed with a matt black paint finish and fitted with industrial handles for a striking appearance.

Ensuite Bathroom Fitting

We created extra space in the small ensuite bathroom by adding a pocket door, fitting a wall length shower enclosure, wall hung basin and toilet. Concrete effect tiles added an industrial touch to this stylish ensuite bathroom.

Bathroom Building Work

The client had already instructed a fitter for the main bathroom. We prepared the room by removing the existing fixtures and levelling the floor. Our carpenter made a bespoke picture frame to create a focal point of the uncovered original brickwork.
